Mark has a private practice in New Farm QLD with a clinical focus on specialty contact lenses for the complex cornea. He is one of the providers for RGP and scleral contact lenses for those patients in Queensland on the public corneal graft list.
He is a fellow of the British contact lens association. Mark has been involved with QUT School of Optometry specialty contact lens clinics since 2004 and received the QUT vice chancellor’s award for excellence for teaching in 2010 and 2013.
He presents lectures on specialty contact lens applications for the complex cornea, keratoconus, post grafts, ocular surface disease and other corneal complications. He presents regularly for contact lens industry and in his own right at national and international conferences, is involved in clinical trials with pre-release lenses and products, consults to industry as a KOL, and is a referee for Clinical and Experimental Optometry.
When Mark is not working he is either spending time with his family, road cycling or surfing.
