Kate Gifford operates an independent practice in Brisbane, Australia, with special interests in contact lenses, binocular vision and myopia control. Graduating from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2003 with First Class Honours and a University Medal, Kate is now undertaking a part-time PhD by clinical research. She is a fellow of the BCLA, IACLE, CCLSA and AAO and is the Immediate Past President of Optometry Australia. Kate is an award-winning clinical supervisor and visiting lecturer at QUT, holds 37 peer reviewed and professional publications, and has presented over 70 lectures at conferences in Australia and internationally.
